Needs much more Work

Hey.

It's not too interesting as it is. It needs a lot more work.

First off, I got a bunch of ActionScript run-time errors when the game was loading:

Error 1: ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable swf is not defined.

Error 2: ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable Sharepoint__ is not defined.

Error 3: TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at MainGame$/RilevaMouseMove()"

Graphics:
- Graphics are fine, but drop the multicolored text, and take some of the thickness out of the fonts. They are too hard to read.

Audio:
- Are there sounds in the game? If so, how do I enable them?

Control:
- Ease to control the car, but maybe add a brake control.

Gameplay and Performance:
Lots of things to be done here. Perhaps consider the following:
Things to consider to make it more interesting
- Add powerups, like short speed boosts
- Add hazards in the tracks.
- Add computer components to race against in single player mode.
- The name entry is a nice touch from console games, but get rid of that. It's much easier to type. Just let the player use the keyboard.
- Perhaps, make so you can win money after races, and use it to upgrade your car.
- Add some sort of arrows or guides when the track is about to make sharp turns.
- I went to your site and loaded the hi-res, and you really need to optimize that. Just from fading out the title screen, it's painfully slow. There's no reason why that should be running this slowly.

Again, this has potential of becoming a good game, but it looks more like a customized tutorial rip.

Lots of work to do. I'm assuming you're still working on this one, and just wanted some initial feedback?

Needs More Meat On Its Bones

Hey.

Gameplay - Fun, but a bit too simple. There should be a little more to the game. Perhaps jumping, other enemies besides top-descending bats, and maybe a platform here or there. Perhaps a small dagger you can throw.

Graphics - Graphics are fine.

Audio. The sound effects are too monotonous. There should be maybe two different sounds for events that occur very often, such as slashing the cage, and the Princess' voice. The music COMPOSITION is nice, but it's too advanced for such a simple game.

Control - Easy to control the character.

Not too shabby, soldier.

Not too Shabby

Hey.

Good concept. A simple chain reaction-based puzzle game. (-:

Gameplay Too Simple

Hey.

It's a nice concept, but the gameplay itself is too slow, and gets monotonous after a while.

I think more powerups, and more interaction with the environment would have been better. Perhaps have some underlings that you can summon or something like that.

Audio - The sounds are ok, nothing spectacular. The music composition is alright, but the loop breaks too hard.

Perhaps a second game would be more engaging.

Good Game

Hey.

Good concept, and nice, cartoony artwork. The music got annoying after a while, so I muted it. Unfortunately, it muted the sounds, too.

Just polish up those rough edges. (-:

Nice game

Hey.

Gameplay - Not a bad twist on Bomberman. I wish you could set more than one bomb after a while (perhaps I didn't play that far?) Second, after you get hit, I don't think there is enough grace period in between, as you get hit again, and die too quickly. Third, I don't like how zombies randomly appear in parts of the map that I've already cleared. I hate that in games.

Graphics - Look good, although the scenery and the zombies and characters look like they were done by different artists. Are those explosions from wonderTouch? (-: Also, the explosions were a bit slow, but they're alright.

Control - Easy to control the character and move around. I'm glad it doesn't snap to the grid. (-:

Audio - Music composition is good. Sounds are pretty good, too. However, a 2D sound system would have been better. In other words, events that happen to the left or right of your character should have been panned, and sounds that play farther away from your character should have had lighter volume. Also, the game begins to sound to monotonous after a while. For sound sthat happen quite a bit (bomb explosions, etc.), there should have been at least two different sounds. The only sound I noticed that had multiple sounds, was the player getting hit, obviously, because it's voice acting. >_>

Not a bad game. I wish you could do more with those bombs, though.

Thanks for feedback

Hey.

Thanks for the feedback, soldiers.

* salutes *

PandoraC - Sorry that you feel that way. However, the game was not meant to snap to the grid, as free movement is better because of the type of play. There are wide open areas in this game, with tanks and helicopters shooting at you from all directions, being locked to the grid actually hurts the game. You can also move diagonally, and kick and toss bombs diagonally as well, which increases your mobility. I don't think it's clumsy at all.

Second, you have the number in your hud that tells the range of your bomb explosions.

If you're looking to build a 2D, single-player HTML5 Canvas game, look no further. I code games using TypeScript + Phaser 3.
