Very Nice!

Hey.

The animation was put together very well.

Ziro salutes you, and Hunter Bridges as well.

It's ESPECIALLY good to see some original artwork and music instead of ripped sprites and sounds here.

I had some loading issues, however. At first, all I was getting was blank, white screen. Waited a few minutes, still nothing. After several tries of reloading the browser, if finally worked.

Other than that, nice work.

As you were, soldier. :-|

i was having the problem earlier too, i think its because i resubmitted it in the correct size format and NG was having a problem.

Fix the Background Field

Hey.

It looks rather bland and rough. Add some bright colors to it to bring it out. Maybe use a particle system if you can. For some ideas, I encourage you to go to wondertouch.com, and view their particle system. Looks really awesome! (-:

I'm assuming those are supposed to be space rocks/asteroids in the background.

The only issue with them is that there is a layer of rocks the does not come from th edges of the window, as all the other layers do. They suddenly appear in the middle.

Fix that, so that this layer also comes from the edges, like all the other rocks do.

If these are not rocks, then I apologize in advance for calling them rocks, but that's what they look like to me. (-:

Hey.

At the beginning of the video, as soon as it starts...

_get back from the mic, dude!_ :-D

The songs are a little too loud, and seem to be clipping a little (due to the sound itself being to loud). I suggest re-recording both songs at a softer volume.

Storyline was rather random and moot, but that opening was kinda funny.

Back to the beginning (again): :-P
WHAT exactly did Darth Vader say, and what did the kid say? :-D

Very Nice

Hey.

The video was put together very well, and looks to be well thought out.

The only issue was the audio, particularly when they are speaking. At times, it seems as if the speakers were too close to the mic (or whatever input recording device that was used), but other than that, it sounded very well.

For almost 20 MB, I thought it would be a little longer, but I suppose that much media would use about 20MB. (-:

Interesting story. Although I have heard of the Three Kingdoms, I never studied them or anything.

However...

When you mentioned Zhuge Liang, Cao Cao, and ESPECIALLY Liu Bei, they definitely rang some bells! (-:

Ever heard of, or played the NES game by Capcom, called "Destiny of an Emporor"? ;-)

It was based on the Han Dynasty, and it had all those characters (warlords or generals, as they were called from that era). Lui Bei was the main protagonist, along with his two most trusted allies, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. Zhuge Liang was a major character in the game as well, was the "greatest stragetist" during that time. Although the game spelled his name as "Zhu Ge", and not "Zhuge", although I see the latter more often.

Cao Cao is also in the game, closer to the end - major bad guy, along with Sun Quan, and the final adversary, Si Ma Yi.

I could go on and on about that game, so I'll stop. Your video brought back some nostalgia, though. (-:

Again, nicely done. Keep it up. Make "Destiny of an Emperor" next time! lol - kidding. ;-P

Audio huh... I'll work on that.

If I've learned anything already from this project, it's that 3D isn't the holy grail of animation - the part going across the water to Cao Cao's base, that was 5 MB! I'm definately gonna be more cautious about use of 3D in the future.

I feel like I've heard of Destiny of an Emperor, though I've never seen it, but from what you're telling me, it sounds like a story straight out of the Three Kingdoms. The story has a bias towards Liu Bei and his Shu-Han kingdom, and a bias against Cao Cao and Wei. In the book (slight spoiler) though he doesn't defeat Liu Bei directly, the clan of Sima Yi does overthrow the Wei, and set up the new Jing dynasty, which eventually reunites China. Many stories take inspiration from these events, but allow one of the original three kingdoms to "win". Anyways, glad to have reminded you of old times. =)

dude, i'm hellza gonna make all 120 chapters of the Three Kingdoms! lol - JK. Theres no way in HELL I'd even think of trying to adapt even a fourth of this monumental story. I will keep animating tho.

thanks for reviewing!

Needs Lots of Work

Hey.

Here's a tip: If you are warning people that the sound may get messed up (which it did), you need to fix that BEFORE you upload it. There are tons of resources out there for help, or you could even try posting in NG forums, if you have not tried any of these solutions yet.

- Needs some sound effects.

- Graphics could have been better, even for stick figures.

Nice Video

Hey.

Nice story telling. The technical details of the Flash were put together quite well.

The main only drawback is that it uses ripped sprites. Would have liked to see some original artwork. You almost had me with the Link sprites, until I took a closer look, and they appear to be based off of Zero. :-P

Not too shabby.

As you were, soldier. :-|

Not Too Shabby

Hey.

This was nice.

I like the animation, although it's a bit fast, and kind of hard to see details during the fighting.

In my opinion, three major drawbacks are
1). It's too short;
2). A better background, and more "equalizers" (;-P) would have been nice.
3). More elaborate fights and fighting moves; maybe toss a few bodies around. Maybe, have the "hero" pick up globs of clay from fallen enemies, and toss them or something.

Keep it up.

Too Short

Hey.

I know you mentioned that already, but that's the only problem with it.

At least it's not random, senseless violence with stick figures, or those guys with the + faces.

Please make a longer one next time. This has a sort of educational potential behind it, soldier.

Needs Lots of Work

Hey.

First of, there are some grammatical errors in your opening message. Change it to something like this (corrections are in all caps):

"There WAS ONCE a hotdog seller, but his stand HAS been closed by agents. Now (INSERT COMMA HERE), he WANTS revenge."

Hope that makes sense. Let me know if it doesn't.

Now, onto the video.
- It's your typical 5-second kill-fest with blood. Nothing new here.

- Add some more content to it, and include some unique ways that the characters are killed off. Different weapons, maybe start with a pistol, then an automatic weapon (sub-machine gun, etc.), then maybe a bazooka, rocket laucher, grenade launcher, or even some hand grenades. You could always take a page from id Software's book, and try making a Railgun. (-:

Include some dialogue between the former hotdog seller, and the other guys.

I know'd that i type something wrong in opening text. I'm not good in english.

If you're looking to build a 2D, single-player HTML5 Canvas game, look no further. I make games using JavaScript + Phaser. And if you're looking to convert your Flash game to HTML5 canvas, let's talk.
