Hey.

I was looking forward to seeing this. I'll bet it was various members of the Soup Squad teaming up against evil SOPA character that you made up. Let's see... flies like to ruin soup, so maybe you represented SOPA with as some giant, ugly fly, whose eyes are actually, the No-SOPA logo? Soup Squad would be equipped with spoon-shaped fly swatters or something.

The music must have been provided/allowed by SOPA; otherwise, it too would have been blocked.

Dag-nabbit, SOPA! ):<

Nice Quickie

Hey.

There should be a little subtle movement on the operator cans in the background.

When the view zooms in on Canned Soup, the TextField used for the phone number is also zooming, and it jerks around a bit. Probably better to remove the the TextField from the zoom operation, or try converting it to vector art and zoom that.

On the final screen, there should be a comma between the words "number" and "leave".

Otherwise, it's nice.

Yeah, but this was more or less trying to get it out there. It was more of the number being important.

You and your Soups :P

Hey.

Just a few things to point out.

Title Screen: Art style doesn't match the rest of the movie. It looks nice, just a little inconsistent.

Tomato Soup: When the guy responded "f** yourself", the audio sounds like it was a bit clipped. I don't know if you custom made this or it was a sound acquired from somewhere else.

Canned Soup: This is nice, but would better if there were some shadows, at least on the cans and boxes.

Potato Soup: The aluminum can has a gradient on the top half, but not on the bottom half. When using vector art, normally I'd say avoid gradients, but in this case it fits well, because it's being applied to a cylindrical, metallic object.

I found Tomato Soup to be the funniest, followed by Potato Soup. Other than those, it's nice comical quickie.

* salutes *

Thanks, I took the sound as a clip from a video so eh, lol.

LOL!

Hey.

This was really funny, I liked it. (:

It's the silly animations and artwork, combined with the fact that someone starts off happy, and slowly gets ticked off over time.

Although on the closing screen, I think it woud have been a little funnier if you used the angry face from Apr 22, instead of the happy one. The face just before "Shit the fuck" was hilarious, and would have worked, too.

Favorited. I might add this to my Winamp playlist.

Nice "Game"

Hey.

This should be published as a movie and not a game, as it doesn't present any actual gameplay, player-related objectives, tasks, missions, puzzles, strategies, or anything like that.

The artwork looks pretty good. Would like to get a better look at those trains, but they go by too fast. :-P

A quick fadeout of the lights on the signals would have look a little better, unless those are LEDs. :-P

When I clicked on the credits to see more information, I was thinking there would be more information about the actual trains, because that's what seemed to be implied in the author's comments. The information you have in the credits somewhat rudimentary.

I like how you used panning and volume controls as the trains flew by.

What Flash version did you publish in? Since you're using AS2.0, I presume it's probably Flash 8. The reason is, if this is true, then I also presume you're using an MP3 for the signal sound? You may want to use a WAV (if not already doing it), so you can get a gapless loop. Actually, there is a way you can do it with MP3s, but the format is limited.

I don't know anything about Dutch trains, but they don't sound horns or anything before they approach? (-:

Overall, it's pretty interesting, just change it from "game" to "movie".

Good skill, soldier.

Hey.

I thought this was quite funny. Listened to it several times.

The animation was alright, as was the voice acting.

- Heh! So, his parents named him Batman? o_O :-D

- I liked the part of the mugger still shooting the parents after they already got dead. The + 1 Wallet was quite funny, too, which I didn't even notice that the first time. :-P Since that was put in there, perhaps there should have been a display of both parents' health. Since they already appeared to be dead, the health should start off smaller than 0, and would still decrease after each shot, maybe it would be at ridiculously low values, such as -102, -9203, -38290, -111922384, etc. :-P

- On the way back from f***ing off from China, he's in space!? Where the heck did he go, and how is an airplane out in space!? "Batman then went back home to Earth..." lol Perhaps, I should be asking, where the heck is China then!? :-P

- I like how you came back to the part mentioning his parents were dead. Would have been funny if it were right here, maybe: "... and germs killed the Martians, because his parents were dead."

- The only part I didn't like was Batman's comeback to the "f****er" with a potato sack. Making him get dump was good, though.

- The way the train went off the tracks was quite funny as well, because it was very "stiff". :-P

Make one about Spiderman, Superman, or some other superhero! :-P

- To me, the funniest part in the movie: "Batman then went back home to Earth and said, 'I will become Batman', and then he became Batmaaaaaaaaan!" LOL!

Well thanks Ziro. That's one comprehensive review right there. I hope you'll enjoy some of my future work too.

Not Bad

Hey.

The detail in the art work is a little better in this one. (I reviewed "DON'T CALL ME THAT!", then this one.) The detail of the vehicles, hills, and trees? That's the kind of detail what I was referring to in the other review; not just solid colors. (-:

On this video, the first scene could have been a little better, but it's not too bad. You have a 3D perspective in it, but some objects, such as the legs of the bed, and the closet door (when opened) are flat. Hope that makes sense.

Animation was smooth. Nice parallax scrolling effect in the road scene.

Keep working and learning, and no doubt, your videos will get better.

This one has sounds! :-P

Thanks. I am working on more all the time and I am constantly adding more detail. I am learning as i go. That does make sense when you describe the bed and the closet door. Thanks for the compliments and be on the lookout for more of my videos to come. :)

Sound and Object Details

Hey.

Reviewing video, per request. Thanks for replying. (-:

Nice video.

Just needs sounds added for all that is going on.

Try not to leave solid colored backgrounds, for example, the first white background. In the first scene, when the character starts wlaking, it doesn't give an impression that is actually advancing anywhere; it looks like the weapon is moving towards him. :-P

Regarding the artwork: Needs more detail. Since you do vector art, maybe try to add some shading to give depth to objects and characters. It doesn't need to be anything fancy.

One more thing: In the scene when the character gets "teleported", the part of the "energy field" is there, as it should. I noticed that removal of most of the energy field looked like it took part of the table with it. Also when the screen zooms in then back, the final piece is suddenly gone.

Not too shabby video, soldier.

This video was fun to make, but I was glad when it was finished. I basically learned as I went with this one. I am still learning more every day, i just figured id upload this one to show what my starting point was so people can see my progression. I may go back and edit this one sometime, but ill probably just leave it as is, and ill keep making better ones. Thanks for the critique. I actually look forward to reading the review when i see you wrote it.. You give a thorough analysis and good criticism, without making it painful. :) Thanks for checking out my other videos, and as i said in my other response, keep an eye out for more videos to come.

lol

Hey.

This was pretty funny!

I like how the background objects had some detail in them, and not all single solid colors with think black outlines.

The dialog was hilarious, especially the going back and forth, denying he was a Pokemon. I enjoyed the subtle quietness of the whole thing.

Furthermore, it wasn't a bunch of random, gratuitous violence, either, which I can't stand.

One detail would have been to make the two guys move a bit (you know, idle movements), and blink every now and then (lol).

Make a sequel! :-P

Thanks. My goal was to make a quick and funny video. i will continue to make more funny videos, and also more videos with more going on. I am going to keep improving my skills. Take a look at my other videos and let me know what you think.

I might make a sequal, or I may just make another video with a similar story.
